the music scene here is really great..
its shit nga wa kabantay ang mga taga manila natu..
nindut kung naay mubarog nga tv station nga magpagawas ug music video nga taga cebu na nga mga bands.
cant wait muabot ang time nga dili na record studios or bars mag abot ang mga bands..pero kung sa mga venues sa ilang video shoot..nga in one place daghan ayu nagshoot ug music video....

Part ng objective ng film ang exposure ng Cebu music sa Manila, and I agree that a lot of Cebuano bands are just truly, truly phenomenal. However, I should point out that the relative obscurity of Cebuano music up north could also be due to the fact that not too many local bands actively reach out to Manila (correct me if I'm wrong here, please). They mostly stick to Vis-Min radio airplay. I'm aware of several reasons for this pero di na importante yun sa ngayon. I just think, same as you, that there really should be more of a cultural bridge between Cebu and Manila. Sayang e...

But for the record, I first heard Smooth Friction years ago sa NU107, thanks to Quark Henares' program. Hehe.
